I just read Diane's beautiful post about those awesome nieces and nephews. Every bit of it is true and I too am so proud of them and are thankful they are our "next generation." I am thankful for my place in the family because I get to have my feet in both generations.
I am almost tearful as I think about the weekend-maybe a little tired but also overwhelmed with emotion. I believe God moved in all of our lives in ways we never expected. He was faithful and what could have been difficult situations only drew us closer and actually created some very sweet memories.
The wedding was beautiful because of Mom and Paul's love for each other and for the Lord. We were ourselves and got to know the Vos's a little bit better. Paul is a wonderful addition to our family and it is wonderful to see Mom with that sweet sparkle in her eye.
As is all the time we spend together I am reminded of what I think is our family verse-
"Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy... The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy." Psalm 126:2-3
I will never forget the joy, blessing and faithfulness we received this weekend.
